Albert Einstein

 Hello readers for the last couple of weeks we have been doing door signs with Mr Reizinger and we finished all of our work so we had to do some reaserch on a famous scientest I chose to do Albert Einstein. And this is what I found. Albert Einstein was a German-born theoretical physicist, widely acknowledged to be one of the greatest physicists of all time. Einstein is best known for developing the theory of relativity, but he also made important contributions to the development of the theory of quantum mechanics.

I finished doing all of my work so we painted it black and then while it was was drying we got to play handball and then I done another coat of black and then im gonna take it hom and when its dark im gonna turn it on and see what it looks like. One thing I learned was to solder and it was really easy.

Writing

 Hello readers today we got our writing assesment from term one and four and we were looking at our scores and seeing what score we got over al for term one I got a four B the topic was is sports better than music. Then the next one was is the refferee always right. And then we need to use the rubric.

I am trying to use other punctuation like commas, question marks and exclamation marks , ? !

I have used speech marks to show someone is talking but I have a few mistakes.

Use commas to show clauses (different parts of a sentence).

I am trying to use organisation words and phrases that grab the reader’s attention and interest.

I am trying to do my strucure ideas are organised in basic paragraphs.

I am trying to organise my sentances by linking together sentences that match what is happening in my writing.

Most of my sentences tell the reader what I want them to know

I hook the reader in by thinking carefully about the way I use my sentences.

Some of my ideas show complexity (have extra information, detail or facts that explain my thinking).

My Project

My first project was a robot and I am very happy. When I was little, I dreamt of knowing how to build amazing things and create amazing inventions.

Chrismas Snow

Hello readers today we started writing a story about christmas because it was snowing in Canada the pcture with a house with snow on it trees and a dark sky, chrismas trees. This is what I done please leave a comment on my blog on what I could do better next time.

A pitch black sky with trees a light so bright shining through the tree snow falling on the floor. The dark tree streches over to the other side of the house with snow already covering the branches. The snow covering the ground high enough you could'nt even in walk in it. Santa Clause came through the top of the house and then put the chrismas presents down for all of the little kids.

Santa Clause fell through the roof because he is fat. He has a big white beard, with a red suit with nine reindeers so he can fly around town and drop off more presents to the rest of the kids. He has white hair. Santa is dropping off all of the presents to all of the kids so they are happy and the kids get what they wished for and santa's little helpers are waiting at the north pole for santa to come back.

Santa fell through the roof and now he is stuck, the parents walk into the house and the start whacking with a broom becase they think he is a entroudor. He cant get out because his sac is stuck in the hole with him which means the kids won't be getting presents. Santa waited ages and there was still no help he was getting cold and the wind was blowing into his face he had snow on his face because it was falling out of the air.

After four hours some came to save Santa he was saved but he still needed to deliver all of the presents santa finished the house he was already at and then he hopped on his sled with his reindeers. They flew him to the next house he was running out of time so he got Miss Clause to help. They were both getting around to the houses they were just about finished but there was still one more house they got there and then they both went back to the north pole and Christmas was saved.

Waka On the Avon

 Hello readers last week we went to the Avon over by Margret Mahy. We went in the waka there were two waka's it was really fun it was a good experience there were some year 7s, 9s, 10s. First we had to do some practising.  After we had done all of the practise we hopped on the boat. We started going really fast and then we turned around and went to the bridge. After we had done some practise on the boat we had a race with the other team we won but the oter team had started to catch up with us. After we said thank you and then we left to go play on the margret mahy park.
 

B+E

 Hello readers for the last couple of weeks we have been doig B+E my teacher is Mr Collins and I am working with Alex, James and Jack. Alex is our buisness advisor. For market day we will be selling fruit chains we called it that because we are going to add fruit burst inside of a chain. We will be selling our product at school in front of our class rooms. We are having market day to raise enough money to do eotc days is where we go out to places. market day is on the 1st of december do aproxmaly 11 days. I am enjoying market day because I get to work with my friends who are in different classes. My favorite part is working with my friends. Something that has been a challenge is trying to keep my group on task. I am looking foward to rasing money to go on the eotc days.

WW1

 Hello readers for the last couple of days we have been working on ww1 I have learned heaps about ww1 first off I didn't even know anything about no man's land. After I joined this class I knew what it was it is where everone started and then one team rushed the other team and then half of them dies some of the people had to stay back and get shot because they didn't want to run onto the feild because the were scared of dying. If they stayed back then they still would have died because there is a person that kills people if they do not go. Everyone in WW1 was 13 or 14 so they were still young.

100 Word Challenge

There once was a water park where there were kids playing in the water. They were splashing and you could see a water slide in the back where there were kids going down the slide. It was a very sunny day, enough to get sunburn. There were lanes for people to swim in; there were fast lanes and slow lanes. In the back people were eating food with their family’s. They looked happy. Some of their friends were there so then they got to be with their family and friends. It started to get late and everyone left.

Hello readers for the last couple of weeks we have been doing house plans I chose to do house plan a and we had to do heaps of questions there were normal questions and then we had to do some bonus ones. My favourite part was drawing the house because I like drawing when I had to do the questions I thought it was boring but in the end I just done it and it was easy. Calculations told me about how my circuit was working and created energy for lights and it made sense to me.
The project was a bit boring but once we got to start drawing it started to get fun. If I was to do it again I would choose a harder house.

Vaping Game

 In Health we were set a task that required us to create a game we chose to create monopoly. The topic we chose was vape monopoly we had fake money and we got our vape pieces from the 3d printer. First we had to complete a sheet and then we got to create the game. Once we had done our 6 strategies we started deciding what game we were going to do. From there we started working on the game. It was challenging when people in my group were loud. I coped with this challenge by working with my friends. I worked well but the people in my group were very loud and we lost points. Next time I will work with some new people instead of the people I was working with. I am really proud of our game and it was really fun working with my friends. Our game was to try and help people to stop vaping.

Financial Literacy

 Hello readers for the last couple of weeks we have been doing financial literacy we had to work with a partner if we wanted I chose I work with my friend Isaac we got all of them finished and it only took a couple of days. It was fun working with my friend but I had to use the calculator while Isaac done the calculators of the questions.  Hello readers for the last couple of weeks we have been learning grammar today we started of by doing a kahoot. Current Circuit

 Hello readers for the last couple of weeks we have been doing electricity last week we done static with Mr Heath I was really fun and funny because people's hair started to go up into the air because of the static energy. The battery on my circuit generates power into the circuit. The wire links to every so the electricity can go all around. And the light bulb just generates light around the circuit. Current is how quickly electrons move and voltage means how much the electrons have.

Reflection

 Hello readers for the last couple of weeks we have been doing classes and this week we had a reliever we were good but some of us were being silly. And we had to do reflection time there were 4 questions we had to do. The classes that I like are business and health I show commitment in both of them I get my work done and I show all of the CARR values. We have also been doing arts kete our project is pick up sticks were right now we are colouring in the sticks. When the reliever was here I was good I helped him with the roll but I was also talking to my friends when he was talking. My goal for the last week of school is to try and stay off all of the cards. These are our CARR values Respect, Resilience, Commitment, Achievement.

 Hello readers for the last couple of weeks we have been working on dissections but today we were working on something else for static electricity what we had to do was rip some paper up and then we had to rub a pen on our jacket and our hair and it lifted some of the paper up. Eye Dissection

Hello readers for the last couple if weeks we have been learning about sound waves but yesterday we dissected a cow eye we watched a video and then we dissected the eye after a while I left because I hated the smell. I enjoyed the dissection but at the same time I didn't because it stunk. It was interesting because when we cut inside of it black ink came out. I was surprised to see people doing the dissection because it was yuck. I learned how to cut inside of a cows eye.

Iris contracts or expands to change the size of the pupil.

The pupil shuts down to block light out.

The Optic Nerve carries messages from the eye to the brain.

The brain uses information from the retina to make a mental picture of the world.

Feels soft on the outside and hard in the middle.

The Cay Definition

 Hello readers for the last couple of weeks we have been doing the cay and today I was doing the definitions some of them I already knew but some of them I had to search them up. All of the words were from the book the cay. The story is about two boys and a cat on and island and one of them is blind. Cay

 Would it be hard to live on a small island? I think it would because then you would have to make your own tools to go hunting and get food and water. But there are people who are good at that but all you can hear is the waves and the small island with trees. You might even try and walk around and find creatures.

 Hello readers for the last couple of weeks we have been in lock down and we had to do work from home and today in Health we had to do a topic. The topic was vaping. I had some strategies on how to stop vaping. If you vape you should do exercise and try take the vape off your mind.
