Freak the Mighty

Hello readers today we started to get a new book I wanted to read Freak the Mighty because my friend got bullied when he was younger and the story is about a man that got bullied until he sees someone and he had a robot and then they become friends. I predict that the kid is going to get bullied and then when his friend comes he will get bullied the first person got called Killer Kane, Killer Kane had a kid who had no brain before we watched a clip and it was about how they became friends and they both got bullied when they went to school. This book interested me because his dad's grandfather was scared and it made me feel sad because Kane wouldn't be able to see his grandfather because his grandfather was scared of his dad. The front of the cover makes me feel happy because they become friends and they work together and when one of them were getting bullied the other would go over to them and help.

Market Day

Hello readers for the last couple of weeks we have been working on B+E and we were making ice cream and my group was called Cream Joy. B and E stands for business and enterprise we made thirty four dollars but we ran out of ice cream. We made Oreo's and ice cream and a lot of people were buying our ice cream more people were going to buy the ice cream until we ran out. Next time when we make something new like ice cream I will bring more ice cream i wanted more money because I wanted to make more money so we could go to the hub and sell our product and then people could buy it please leave a comment on what I could do better next time.

 Hello readers for the last couple of days we have been working on a DLO and we were doing it about a fairy tale, I chose the 3 little pigs. I was working with Ashton we were doing this because we were learning about different types of characters. I wanted to work with Ashton because he is smart and good at making DLO'S. Business and Enterprise

 Hello readers for the last couple of weeks we have been working on business and enterprise we are making ice cream our ice cream is vanilla and it has crushed Oreo's I was working with Alex, JV, Jullien while I was working on the slides they were creating other things. I think people are going to buy our ice cream because they might not have tried it before our ice cream is going to cost $2.50 we are also making another flavor it is Doritos and ice cream. We decided to make a Doritos ice cream because someone mentioned it to my group.

Ginger Bread Man

Hello readers today we watched a video about the ginger bread man and we were finding out what a protagonist was and what a antagonist was. The Protagonist was the ginger bread man and the antagonist was the fox because the fox ate the ginger bread man. The ginger bread man would be flat because he doesn't change through the story. At the start of the story it told us that the old man was always working in the garden and once the old lady had finished all her work she had nothing to do and she was bored so the old man told her to bake something good for dinner so she baked a ginger bread man and then the ginger bread man ran away. The ginger bread man was energetic and cheeky because we winked at the old lady and then ran out the window. please leave a comment on my blog on what I could do better.

Character Words

Hello readers for the last couple of weeks for the last couple of days we have been working on character words and today we had to finish it but we had done a kahoot about character words but before the kahoot we were watching a video and it was all about character words and that's why we done the kahoot. Shapes Are Everywhere

Hello readers for the last couple of weeks we have been working on shapes and geometry fist we watched some videos about shapes and then we had to look around the class and find something that was like the shape. Then we had to give some examples about how many sides they had the shapes we had to do were Square, Rectangle, Triangle, Circle, Pentagon. Then we had to look at the shape and try find out what it was because they had some writing. After we had done that we had to post it onto our blog and this is what I made. Sport

Hello readers for the last couple of days I have been doing sport we were working in teams it was a tournament we won one of our games. We were playing at Nunweek Park. I was playing rugby I found working as a team was difficult. We needed to spread out and we needed to communicate to each other. But we all tried and that was the good part it was really fun our teacher was Mrs Bremner. Christchurch earthquakes

Hello readers for the last couple of weeks we have been working on slides and questions and today we started a new story and the story is Christchurch earthquakes and we had to do some questions and then we had to answer them and this is what I made I hope you enjoy please leave a comment on my blog on what I could do better next time. 

How have the Christchurch earthquakes had an impact on our city? The earthquakes have ruined the city because some of the buildings have fallen down and people got hurt.

What positive or negatives have come from the quakes? All of the buildings fell down and people are trying to build the places that got knocked down.

What are some changes that citizens have made to prevent damage happening from potential future earthquakes? They could make the building's better and more stable because they might fall down and then the places won't fall down.

Nonfiction Bingo

Hello readers for the last couple of weeks we have been working on a protest slide and we had to do some task we had to make a DLO and we had to write what was the most interesting thing in the story was and this is what I made I hope you enjoy please leave a comment on my blog on what i could do better next time.

The most interesting thing I learned was that Springbok was a team and everyone back then was racist and they split the black people. The white people would be a team and the black people would be a team.

2 things I learned new is the great depression is where people lost their jobs and they were not gonna make money. Another thing I learnt was that the men were the only people to vote and the women wanted to vote but they didn’t get to vote.

The story we read was about racism and it makes people sad it made me sad that some people are different types of colors. The black people didn’t get to participate in some of the things that the white people do.

Strike Means the teachers have a day off and they demand for something they want more.

Protest Means people all join together and they protest about something they don’t like.

Suffrage Means the women wanted to vote as well as the women because they were not getting to vote because they wanted to choose something else but the guys got to choose.

Unions are a lot of people joining together as a group and they protest together at the same time.

The Great Depression meant the people got their jobs taken off them and they started to become depressed.

Hikoi is walking around the place or marching and they protest at the same time.

If I was to protest I would let the women vote because it was unfair that the guys got to vote and the girls didn’t want to make another option as the guys. But they didn’t want what the guys wanted. They wanted to choose another thing different to the men after all of the guys voted and the women didn't. All of the men were selfish and they didn’t really care what the women thought. It is important to let everyone join in on what all of the men do because it was unfair.

Car Shopping

Hello readers fort the last couple of weeks we have been working on car shopping it was hard because we had to work in groups we haven't worked with I had one friend in my groups and the other person in my group I didn't really know them after we had to do some questions and then we had to paste our car shopping to our blog. I learned that you should choose a car that is good for you it was kinda hard because I haven't worked with some people before and this what I made.
