Thesis Statement

Hello everyone today we were doing a thesis statement about our self. Likes to sleep and play video games I like to do some exercise I like hanging out with my family. Did you know that I like working on cars with my family they like doing the same things as me. I like my family because they are always there if I need them. I like school because I like hanging out with all of my friends. I like playing sport like rugby, Running. Did you know that Jesse likes to hang out with his friends and play sport.

Do Now Week 5

 Is the principal the most important person in the school? I don't agree because I think that the kids are the most important. If something happens to the kids then there parents would be mad that is the reason why I don't think that the principal is the most important one. But if we didn't have a principal then if somethings happens that is bad then they can do something about it.  This is why I think that every school should have a principal because then they can help us if something happend even though there are teachers that can help.

Health

 Hello readers for the last couple of weeks we have been playing games in health we got to play games because we had finished all of our work. Some of the games we played were the Marshmallow challenge, Drawing game, Cup challenge, and the last one was shark infested water I liked this game the most because we had to work as a team. Some of the warm fuzzies I used was good job. I was working at level 4 because I was encouraging my teammates.  The IP skill I was using was communication. If I was to do this again I would choose some other people. Please leave a comment on my blog on what I could do better next time.

Concentration and Dilution

Hello readers for the last couple of weeks we have been doing science we have been doing some experiments today we started to do concentration and dilution today we started working on another experiment. Concentrations means to measure how much solute has been dissolved into the solvent. Dilute means it is weak and concentrated means that it is strongly concentrated. We will be using Potassium Permanganate. I think that it will be clear in the end.

Science: Filtering

 Hello readers for the last couple of weeks we have been doing science today we started to do an experiment filtering is separating things based on there size some things can't be separated if they are the same size if two things are liquid then you cannot separate them if they are dissolved then it will not work. The thing we will be using is copper sulfate, and sodium carbonate. we will be making a mixture and then we are going to be separating it. The things in copper sulfate are Liquid that is light blue and transparent. The equipment you will need is conical flask, stirring rod, 200mL beaker, Funnel, filter paper. I think that it will start to separate from the other part. I think when we add them together it will combine and one will be colour less and one will be blue. These are the steps.

Method: 

1. Pour approximately 50mL of copper sulfate solution into a beaker.

2. Add the same volume of sodium carbonate solution. A reaction will happen, you should see a cloudy blue precipitate form. Called copper carbonate. 

3. Watch demo then fold filter paper to fit inside the funnel

4. Place the funnel with the filter paper inside of it, into the mouth of a conical flask. 

5. Stir the mixture in the beaker, then carefully pour it into the funnel. 

6. Observe what happened. It started to turn clear when we added both in

Comprehension Questions

 Hello readers for the last couple of weeks we have been doing novel studies I am reading a book called slide the corner today we had some comprehension questions this was easy some of the questions were easy but some were hard. Please leave a comment on my blog on what I could do better next time and send some feedback. When Greg meets the Chatterton's it makes him feel happy because they have cars and Greg likes cars. They make him happy because they give him food and Brad teaches Greg about cars. They offered him and job and they let him get into the rally car. When Greg tried to his mum she was happy but then when he went to go and talk to his dad he got angry. I can relate to Greg's problem because sometimes people start to get mad at there parents because they don't get there own way. It makes Greg upset because he wants to be like everyone else. I think William will stick up for Greg because they are good friends this is a good character because I think that everyone should have friends. She changes her mind because she thinks that he can be whatever he wants. I predict that the next part of the  story is going to be about Greg driving a rally car.

NZ Civil Defence

 Hello readers or the last couple of weeks we have had some floods around Christchurch today we had make a poster abut the floods we had to do some tips I was working with Rocki we had to use some websites to get us information.
