Hello readers for the last couple of weeks we have been doing science when we were with Miss Birch we started to make some sentences the three sentences we have learned is the w start, Adverb ly) and a very short sentence. Now we have to make a sentence.
Example: When we planted the seedling they stayed there quietly stayed in the the cup. When the water was near the seed it grew slowly. While it was growing the roots came out. We left the seedlings. it grew more.

Who Are We
Hello Readers for the last couple of days we have been making slides about Mahinga Kai and yesterday we were learning about Te Tiriti o Waitangi. We had to listen to a video about Te Tiriti o Waitangi and we had questions that we had to answer. In the 1830s the Maori population dropped down to 8.000 to 7.000 the population dropped because people were getting sick and they started to die.
The missioners were mad because of what was happening the British people were taking over all of the land and there were lots of prostitution. The Tiriti of Waitangi was because of Rats, Water, Fire and they were buried. When it was 1833 they tried to resolve the situation by using the united tribes The British saw France as a threat so they tried to take the Maori's land. Edward Gibson was the person who set up the New Zealand company. the British send Hobson to stop the war. People from around the country signed the Treaty there were 40 people that signed it the Treaty wasn't signed probably because it wasn't translated properly Tino Ranga Tiratanga means having the authority. Sovereignty means crown controlled Hone Heke cut down the flags to take revenge when the Maori and British were having war the Maori people used methods like using flax and building trenches they used guns and wood the flax made the people take longer to get people over to the Maori.
